Enthralling is my friend Linda’s favourite word to describe A Swiftly Tilting Planet by Madeleine L‘Engle. Her well crafted tales finds Meg and Charles Wallace on another adventure.

I completely agree. But, I would like to add: mindblowing becuase I had never known Engle continued writing books in the series which started with A Wrinkle in Time. (Remember it was the 80s and there wasn‘t any internet. So, if it wasn’t on Reading Rainbow, forget it. I was clueless).

A dictator, Mad dog threatens the world with nuclear annihilation. With only 24 hours, Charles Wallace must uncover the key to saving the world. The Echthroi (nasty winds) want to stop him and his only help is a unicorn named Gaudior, and his sister Meg O‘ Keefe.

Yes, fellow readers, a real page turner for your summer reading.
